A world-class globe trotting DJ, sound recording artist, and sought-after producer and remixer, Dave Hughes has excelled as a true artist on the international electronic dance music scene. Dave does not cease to amaze, always seeking to astound audiences. As a DJ, he is renowned for his technical and effortless ability to weave and morph tracks into deep and soulful vibe. The breadth of more than 20 years of experience on the dance music scene is apparent when you hear his high quality, signature-style sound.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Hughes' earliest DJ appearances were in U2's "Kitchen Nightclub" (1996), a residency at @Home Nightclub in Dublin, Ireland (1999), Love Parade, Berlin (2002), Electric Picnic Festival, Ireland 2004, The Peppermint Lounge, Sydney, Australia (2005), Burning Man Festival 2005 to 2010, and Philadelphia Experiment Summer Festival 2009 & 2010. Dave has produced records for John Tejada's exclusive label, Palette Recordings, iRecords, PlayloopRecords, and he has worked as an assistant audio engineer on REM's album "Reveal", U2's album "All You Can't Leave Behind", as well as countless other albums with the likes of The Cranberries, Elvis Costello and Snow Patrol.
